EASYstudio Video Play - TV Automation

EASYstudio Video Play is a solution dedicated to automated programming and graphic TV management.

EASYstudio Video Play is designed for professionals who want to create advanced programming schedule following a well-defined form of playlists generated for several hours, days, weeks or even months. Playout connected to the graphics generator provides a dynamic display of content such as text in a banner displaying the name of the singer and the song title during a musical program (eg MTV, MCM, Trace ...). The input SDI playout (following several options) also allows users to manage small live broadcasts (games, presentation, sequence, entertainment, ...).

In its basic version, the system consists of a PC 19 '' 4U integrated in a rack with two SmartView monitors presented on a 19 ''3U face as well as a drawer for a storage space.
The system also offers two monitors 24 '' for a separate management of the two interfaces (Playout & CG), two amplified audio monitors and a closed stereo headphones.

The PC is designed for a 24/7 job. It has a redundant power supply, a Solid State Drive (SSD) of 512 Gb ensures high speed operations and a RAID system for data protection for up to 2Tb.
The Playout software is based on a client / server architecture for a 24/7 optimal management . One or more client workstations can create, manage, validate playlists while the server side is playing the programming out.

CG software, like most graphics generators, works with layers which overlay the video input (playout). This allows the creation of many graphic elements such as logos, banners, animations, graphics, scrolling text, etc ...Some graphic scenarios can then be generated on the fly or pre-recorded.
By using the TCP / IP protocol, the metadata can be exchanged from the playout to the CG to control for example displaying text or image.

Each software interfaces have their video card allowing different input and output connections.

• SDI HD connection of the Playout to the CG
• Video monitoring from the SmartView (connect. BNC SDI) of the 2 main outputs (Playout & CG output) 
• Audio monitoring, either from the headphone or from the 80 w amplified speakers (connect. XLR)
• Ability to connect another device to the CG like a video mixer or another playout system like an EASYstudio Video Live.

The software solution Magicsoft Playout and CG is proposed in HD version, a downgrade to SD version can be made on request.
This compact studio can be connected to a NAS server where audio / video files are stored.
